What you will do

• Set the long-term strategy and vision for a unified mobile ecosystem across various connected product categories.
• Lead and develop a global engineering organization of SDEs and SDETs across the US, UK, and China.
• Drive architectural decisions for iOS, Android, and React Native to ensure scalability for millions of monthly active users.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders in Firmware, Cloud, and Hardware to align on product roadmaps.
• Manage vendor and offshore contractor relationships to ensure quality and delivery accountability.
• Champion the adoption of AI-driven processes to accelerate design, coding, and testing across the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Deep hands-on experience in native iOS, Android, and React Native development.
• Proven track record of building consumer-scale mobile systems serving millions of users per month.
• Experience leading, hiring, and mentoring engineering teams at all levels.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Background in connected products, IoT, or smart home development.
• Familiarity with device-to-app connectivity patterns including BLE and Wi-Fi.
• Experience leading platforms through unification, re-platforming, or large-scale architectural transitions.
