What you will do

  • Administer, monitor, and optimize MS SQL Server environments to ensure platform reliability.
  • Perform database performance tuning, troubleshooting, and backup/recovery activities.
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell and/or Python.
  • Support and improve CI/CD processes for database and platform deployments.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering and Infrastructure teams to improve operational environments.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, backup, and operational standards.

Requirements

  • Experience administering and supporting MS SQL Server environments (2012 and newer).
  • Strong knowledge of database performance tuning, monitoring, and recovery processes.
  • Practical experience with scripting and automation using PowerShell and/or Python.
  • Understanding of CI/CD practices and Git-based version control workflows.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms, preferably Azure.
  • English: Upper-intermediate (B2) or higher.
