What you will do

• Lead complex end-to-end initiatives from architectural design to production delivery.
• Decompose the existing monolith into standalone services using Go and Ruby, prioritizing Go for high-performance components.
• Design robust data projections and produce high-quality events for event-driven architectures.
• Optimize high-scale systems to improve latency, throughput, and resource efficiency for 85 million users.
• Integrate AI tools and LLMs into the engineering workflow to automate repetitive manual tasks.
• Monitor production health using Kibana, Grafana, and Datadog while owning SLIs/SLOs to ensure 99.9%++ reliability.

Requirements

• Deep experience in designing and implementing scalable RESTful services.
• Proficiency in Go or a strong ability to master it for building high-performance backend systems.
• Strong foundation in Software Engineering, Distributed Systems, and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Proven track record of optimizing system performance in high-load environments.
• High-signal communication skills in English for explaining complex technical trade-offs.
• Must be based in or able to work from Kaunas or Vilnius (Hybrid model).
