What you will do

• Own the end-to-end QA strategy for the platform rewrite, including process standards and team-wide adoption.
• Evaluate and implement the TypeScript QA technology stack for E2E, API, performance, and contract testing.
• Design and operate agentic QA processes using Claude, Codex, and Cursor to accelerate test authoring and coverage.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines with clear quality gates for pull requests.
• Execute data migration validation and record-level reconciliation to ensure billing continuity.
• Lead QA sign-offs, report on release readiness, and mentor engineers on QA best practices.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in quality engineering, including 3+ years in a Lead, QA Architect, or Principal role.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, or WebdriverIO.
• Experience operating AI-assisted QA processes using tools like Claude, Codex, or Cursor.
• Deep understanding of REST API testing, contract testing, and webhook validation.
• Experience with performance, load, and data migration testing for high-throughput systems.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to collaborate with stakeholders in the MT time zone.

Nice to have

• Experience with recurring billing and payment systems (e.g., Zuora, Chase Payment Solutions, Shopify POS).
• Background in multi-tenant SaaS platforms and PCI DSS testing considerations.
• Experience with contract testing tools such as Pact.
• Knowledge of mobile app testing frameworks for iOS and Android.
• Industry experience in fitness or gym management systems.
