What you will do

• Define the organization's quality architecture, including quality gates, reliability targets, and shared testing infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain a governance model to ensure consistent adoption of quality standards and tooling across all engineering teams.
• Design and deliver scalable test automation frameworks that increase coverage and release confidence.
• Implement AI-driven quality engineering, focusing on automated test generation, intelligent selection, and defect prediction.
• Own the performance and resilience strategy, establishing monitoring standards and disaster recovery frameworks.
• Collaborate with product and engineering leadership to balance release velocity with system health.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 15+ years of experience in software quality engineering or test architecture with demonstrated org-wide leadership.
• Deep expertise in CI/CD pipeline design, quality gate implementation, and testing strategies for large-scale SaaS platforms.
• Hands-on experience applying AI to quality workflows (e.g., automated defect detection, test generation).
• Proven track record of driving technical standards across multiple teams.
• Travel is required: Approximately 10%

Nice to have

• Experience scaling quality practices in large cloud-native or SaaS organizations.
• Familiarity with chaos engineering, contract testing, and reliability practices (SLOs/SLIs).
• Knowledge of security testing and regulated industry compliance standards.
• Experience with architectural-level observability tools like Datadog, Splunk, or Grafana.
• Experience as an industry thought leader through conference talks or published writing.
