What you will do

• Own the stability and performance of CI across frontend and backend repositories to reduce runtimes and increase success rates.
• Identify, triage, and fix non-determinism (flakiness) in test suites and build tooling to make flake visible.
• Establish Elixir unit and integration testing patterns and create reference implementations for backend engineers.
• Optimize pipeline performance through improved parallelization, caching, and test ordering.
• Build developer-facing tooling and dashboards to surface CI health, coverage trends, and pipeline duration.
• Integrate AI-assisted test generation and spec-driven development workflows into the Elixir framework.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an SDET, test infrastructure engineer, or software engineer with a deep testing focus.
• Must be based in the USA.
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD systems such as CircleCI and GitHub Actions.
• Production-level proficiency in at least one backend language, ideally Elixir.
• Deep fluency with unit and integration testing patterns, especially at service boundaries.
• Strong written communication skills for creating documentation and scaling influence.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude or Cursor.
