What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET (8+) and frontend applications with Angular.
• Implement scalable data models and persistence layers using Entity Framework and PostgreSQL.
• Drive the technical direction of the team, taking ownership of architectural decisions and managing technical debt.
• Mentor developers, promote engineering standards, and lead technical discussions to closure.
• Optimize CI/CD pipelines, release processes, and ensure system observability through logging and monitoring.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to refine requirements and translate business goals into technical execution.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership role (e.g., Tech Lead).
• Strong proficiency in .NET Core/8+, Angular, and relational databases.
• Experience with containerization and cloud-native tools including Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
• Deep understanding of clean architecture, software design patterns, and distributed systems.
• Fluent English proficiency.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid model in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with API gateways, gRPC, or asynchronous messaging systems.
• Experience with performance tuning and database query optimization.
• Exposure to high-traffic systems in gaming, betting, or fintech industries.
