What you will do

• Develop and maintain custom Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Integrate Shopify Plus with key business systems, including ERP (Mozart), CMS, and subscription platforms like Ordergroove.
• Optimize site speed, Core Web Vitals, and overall conversion performance, focusing on mobile user experience.
• Build reusable components to support high-SKU catalog navigation and merchandising.
• Implement A/B testing and personalization strategies to drive retention and conversion growth.
• Debug production issues and continuously improve site architecture and code quality.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience working with Shopify or Shopify Plus.
• Strong proficiency in Liquid, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and app integrations.
• Proficiency with version control systems, specifically GitHub.
• Solid understanding of eCommerce fundamentals, including checkout flows, subscriptions, and SEO.
• Must be based in Latin America.

Nice to have

• Experience with headless commerce architectures, including Shopify Hydrogen.
• Familiarity with subscription-based commerce platforms (e.g., Ordergroove).
• Experience with personalization and search platforms like Constructor.
• Knowledge of analytics and experimentation tools such as GA4, Amplitude, and A/B testing platforms.
• Exposure to enterprise-level eCommerce environments with large product catalogs.
