Social Media Producer (Edtech)

TL;DR

Social Media Producer (Content Creation): Producing compelling, trend-forward social content for parents to build brand awareness for early learning platforms with an accent on short-form video and social trends. Focus on managing the full production lifecycle from ideation and filming to post-production and performance analysis.

Location: Hybrid (Must be based in Glendale, CA and work in office 2-3 days per week)

What you will do

• Brainstorm social video creatives, including proposing copy and writing visual treatments.
• Edit short-form video content for platforms including Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
• Oversee video content shoots from pre-production to completion, coordinating talent and crews.
• Collaborate with the Social Media Director to review performance metrics and adjust content strategy.
• Occasionally appear on camera for short-form video content, including wearing character costumes.

Requirements

• In-depth understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok platforms, specifications, and culture.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, including shared project files and media management.
• Ability to operate video production equipment including cameras, microphones, and lighting.
• Experience managing production crews and on-set talent.
• Experience working with branded partners and navigating branding guidelines.
• Must be able to work in the Glendale office 2-3 days per week for filming and collaboration.

Nice to have

• Experience working with influencer talent and affiliates.
• Background working with child, family, or parenting brands.
• Basic graphic design skills using Canva and Adobe Photoshop.
