What you will do

• Define test strategies for new features, encompassing both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Selenium with Java.
• Execute manual tests to validate features and identify optimal candidates for automation.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks utilizing Page Object Model (POM) and BDD principles with Cucumber.
• Perform comprehensive REST API testing using Postman and REST-assured.
• Conduct backend data validation in Oracle databases using PL/SQL.

Requirements

• Must be based in Mexico.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software QA within Agile environments.
• 3+ years of experience with automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cucumber).
• Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins) and Atlassian suite (JIRA, Bitbucket).

Nice to have

• Experience with TypeScript and frameworks like WebDriverIO or Playwright.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services (S3, SQS, EC2).
• Experience in performance and load testing.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Splunk.
