Forward Deployed Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Forward Deployed Engineer (TypeScript/NodeJS/React): Building and scaling tax reporting automation for the digital economy with an accent on client-facing technical leadership and core platform development. Location: Must be based in Madrid, Spain. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Spain or another European Union country without company-sponsored visa support.

What you will do

• Act as a technical advisor to strategic clients and CTOs, providing guidance during pre-sales and owning the integration process end-to-end.
• Develop and maintain high-quality technical demos and documentation to showcase product capabilities.
• Design and build scalable platform solutions and new features based on direct client feedback to shape the product roadmap.
• Write maintainable, well-tested code for both client-facing tools and the core hirify.global platform.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and sales teams to solve complex problems for customers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building cloud applications and services.
• Expertise in building, consuming, and documenting scalable, resilient APIs.
• Full-stack proficiency with TypeScript, NodeJS, and React.
• Proven experience in client-facing roles interfacing with external technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Fluent English and native fluency in a main European language.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Professional experience with Python.
• Knowledge of big data technologies such as Spark, Iceberg, Hive, Kafka, or Presto.
• Familiarity and interest in the emerging Web3 space.
• Business-level proficiency in 1-2 additional languages.
