What you will do

• Lead Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) activities, including PFMEA reviews, control plan development, and full PPAP management.
• Coordinate dimensional, functional, and material validation testing at supplier sites and internal labs.
• Perform in-depth process audits of manufacturing processes and quality systems at supplier facilities.
• Design and deploy gauges and inspection fixtures across various manufacturing partners.
• Collaborate with Product Design and Operations on DFM reviews and DFMEA/PFMEA risk analysis.
• Analyze supplier process capabilities to develop and implement improvement solutions for mass production.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Product, Supplier, or Manufacturing Quality Engineering.
• Mandatory experience with electrical and electromechanical commodities (PCBAs, cable/wire harness assemblies, motors, solenoids).
• Knowledge of IPC standards, SPC, and statistical analysis (Cpk/Ppk) using Minitab or equivalent software.
• Hands-on experience across NPI build phases: proto, EVT, DVT, and PVT.
• Engineering degree (BS or MS) in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Ability to travel over 60% during peak NPI periods and Mass Production Launch.
