What you will do

• Develop and maintain detailed inventory models using proprietary machine learning tools.
• Integrate geological data, production curves, and well spacing analysis for North American basins.
• Evaluate returns using half-cycle economic models, incorporating production performance and cost scenarios.
• Synthesize proprietary datasets with ML models to create bespoke written research.
• Present research findings and model updates to operators and financial services firms.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience for Analyst level; 5+ years for Senior Analyst.
• Expertise in unconventional oil and gas (shale, tight oil, tight gas) with knowledge of North American basins.
• Demonstrated proficiency in inventory modeling, type curve analysis, and reserve estimation.
• Strong understanding of half-cycle and full-cycle economics for unconventional assets.
• Background in geology or engineering preferred.
• Experience in upstream E&P, reserves engineering, energy consulting, or investment banking.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in financial and economic modeling using Excel.
• Experience with GIS (ArcGIS or equivalent).
• Programming skills.
• CFA designation or progress toward certification.
