What you will do

• Collaborate with the Creative Director to set the vision for core gameplay and content.
• Design and prototype new gameplay mechanics and features in coordination with other disciplines.
• Develop flexible sheets and models to effectively balance gameplay tuning.
• Optimize the design pipeline by creating and improving internal tools.
• Lead brainstorming sessions, pitch new ideas, and conduct playtests for new content.
• Analyze real-time metrics and feedback to adjust designs while maintaining live game balance.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of relevant game design experience.
• Expertise in level design and gameplay mechanics.
• Extensive knowledge of mobile casual, puzzle, and/or role-playing games.
• Ability to translate direct consumer insights and market data into creative design solutions.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Must be based in or able to commute to Carlsbad, CA

• Experience in rapid prototyping within small teams (2-10 members).
