What you will do

• Lead the technical roadmap and execution of the Salesforce to microservices migration, including bounded context definition and cutover strategy.
• Establish engineering standards for the pod, including ADRs, code review bars, and branching models.
• Manage the pod's delivery rhythm, overseeing planning, demos, and retrospectives.
• Maintain a hands-on approach, contributing to the codebase 40–60% of the time.
• Manage the technical relationship with the client through RFC reviews and architectural debates.
• Increase pod productivity by setting patterns for AI tooling such as Copilot and Claude Code.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building Java backend systems, with 3+ years using Spring Boot in production.
• Proven track record of leading monolith-to-microservices migrations as a technical lead.
• Strong AWS architectural experience, specifically with VPC, IAM, RDS PostgreSQL, ECS/EKS, and SQS/SNS.
• Hands-on experience with async messaging architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and handling idempotency and backpressure.
• Experience leading pods of 4–8 engineers in remote or hybrid environments.
• Native-level English (written and spoken) for creating design documentation and ADRs.

Nice to have

• Experience with Salesforce data extraction and migration to relational targets.
• Working knowledge of AI agent frameworks like LangGraph, LangChain, or CrewAI.
• Domain background in logistics, supply chain, B2B marketplaces, or WMS/TMS.
• Experience in Series B–C scale-ups.
