What you will do

• Act as the primary technical interface with the client to translate business needs into high-level technical requirements.
• Define the overall system architecture, including microservice boundaries, communication patterns, and technology choices.
• Develop and communicate the long-term architectural vision and technical roadmaps for the catalog value stream.
• Define security, compliance, and automation standards to ensure consistency across multiple teams.
• Conduct technical evaluations of new technologies to assess compatibility, scalability, and long-term viability.
• Drive cross-team alignment and lead strategic improvement initiatives to resolve systemic technical debt.

Requirements

• Solid experience in systems architecture design for large-scale, global B2B applications.
• Deep knowledge of Java and Spring Boot for building enterprise-grade distributed systems.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, cloud-native architecture, and managed services.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (specifically Azure DevOps).
• English: Fluency required for interaction with international technical teams and stakeholders.
• Location: Must be based in Brazil.

Nice to have

• Exposure to AI/ML frameworks or platforms such as Azure OpenAI or LangChain.
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture (EDA) and distributed systems for high-availability applications.
• Familiarity with Clean Architecture, Design Patterns, and Clean Coding principles.
• Knowledge of non-functional requirements including GDPR, privacy, and performance.
