TL;DR

Customer Support Representative (Fintech): Providing technical and non-technical support for a lending technology platform with an accent on Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting. Focus on resolving platform errors, diagnosing kiosk hardware and software issues, and enhancing user loyalty through efficient ticket resolution.

Location: Hybrid (Maryland, US). Must be based near a hirify.global Hub to attend regular in-person engagement activities.

Salary: $24.50 - $32.50/hr

What you will do

  • Respond to customer communications within mandated service levels.
  • Resolve Tier 1 issues including portal access, kiosk hardware troubleshooting, and printer pairing.
  • Diagnose Tier 2 problems such as system errors, payment/funding issues, and advanced hardware failures.
  • Identify systemic trends in issues and escalate larger problems to appropriate teams.
  • Document resolution steps and share knowledge with Tier 1 representatives to improve team efficiency.

Requirements

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required; no visa sponsorship provided.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 1+ years’ technical support experience, or HS diploma/GED with 2+ years’ experience.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Zendesk, Jira, Confluence, or Salesforce.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Must be able to commute to the nearest Hub for training, meetings, and culture events.

Nice to have

  • 2+ years of experience in a technical customer support role.
  • Experience providing support for specific software products or hardware.
  • Proficiency with Zendesk CRM.
