Mid-Level Fullstack Engineer (TypeScript)

Mid-Level Fullstack Engineer (TypeScript/Vue): Developing and scaling the Voyage Calculator within the Chartering and Logistics domain with an accent on end-to-end feature delivery and clean domain boundaries. Focus on building high-performance backend services, polished frontend interfaces, and ensuring system reliability through robust E2E testing and monitoring.

Location: Hybrid in Athens, Greece

What you will do

• Ship new Voyage Calculator features end-to-end.
• Build and maintain backend services with clean domain boundaries.
• Implement polished and consistent frontend experiences.
• Develop comprehensive E2E tests for new and existing functionality.
• Own monitoring and alerting to meet SLAs and SLOs.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and other engineering crews within the Tribe.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of full-stack engineering experience.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with relational databases, ideally PostgreSQL.
• Experience with a modern frontend framework (Vue 3 preferred, React acceptable).
• Familiarity with DevOps tools including Git, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or an equivalent field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Scala or Python in production.
• Exposure to domain-driven (DDD) or hexagonal architecture.
• Experience with Elasticsearch and Mapbox for interactive mapping and geospatial data visualization.
• Background in building complex, data-heavy applications.
• Knowledge of the maritime, commodities, or logistics domains.
