TL;DR

Senior Fullstack Java Developer (Fintech): Designing and developing complex enterprise applications for the financial sector with an accent on credit and lending lifecycle management. Focus on building scalable solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and React while ensuring high engineering standards and system reliability.

Location: Must be based in Athens, Greece (Hybrid)

What you will do

  • Design, develop, and enhance complex enterprise applications by analyzing existing systems.
  • Contribute to the design and development of new applications to meet business requirements.
  • Coach and review the work of less experienced team members to promote high engineering standards.
  • Develop and execute manual and automated unit tests to ensure comprehensive functional coverage.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve high-complexity software defects.
  • Support system integration across internal platforms and third-party systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in developing enterprise-scale IT software systems.
  • Strong expertise in Java and enterprise Java frameworks (Spring, Spring Boot).
  • Experience with client-side technologies including React/Redux and Angular.
  • Proficiency with relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
  • Strong experience in writing and reviewing unit tests and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
