What you will do

• Lead the design and integration of Digital Emergency Systems, bridging cloud-native platforms and embedded hardware.
• Define scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures using IoT and cloud-native design patterns.
• Create comprehensive architecture documentation, including diagrams, data flows, and interface specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across cloud backend, embedded systems, CPaaS, security, and operations.
• Integrate cybersecurity best practices and ensure compliance with industry and local regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot technical challenges and optimize system performance for efficiency and scalability.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, specifically with cloud and embedded systems.
• Deep understanding of IoT architectures, real-time systems, and cloud-native design patterns.
• Proficiency in one or more languages: C, C++, C#, Java, or Python.
• Hands-on experience with Azure IoT Hub and IoT protocols (MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, WebSockets).
• Proficient English communication skills, both written and spoken.

Nice to have

• Experience with safety-critical systems (emergency services, automotive, medical devices).
• Knowledge of RTOS, Linux embedded, and microcontroller architectures.
• Knowledge of German and/or Spanish.
