What you will do

• Design and maintain a feature-flag and A/B-testing framework to support rapid growth experiments.
• Build and scale microservices for referral programs, action-card engines, and notification orchestration.
• Instrument services with real-time metrics, tracing, and logging to ensure system observability.
• Own on-call rotations, define SLAs, and drive incident response and post-mortem processes.
• Partner with Product, Frontend, and Analytics teams to translate hypotheses into scalable backend solutions.
• Ensure all growth systems maintain sub-100ms latency and ≥99.9% uptime.

Requirements

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience in large-scale, high-availability systems.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js and TypeScript, with experience in NestJS or similar frameworks.
• Deep understanding of system design and architecture, focusing on performance and fault tolerance.
• Web3/Crypto familiarity, including on-chain data, wallet integrations, or decentralized application patterns.
• Proven leadership skills in mentoring engineers and driving technical initiatives.
• Must be eligible to work in the US (implied by 401(k) and US-based benefits).
