Location: Must be based in or able to work from San Francisco, CA, Seattle, WA, or New York City, NY (Hybrid: 25% in-office requirement)

Salary: $320,000 - $405,000 USD

What you will do

• Own supply chain risk management and media protection end-to-end, including policy, supplier assessment, and component integrity standards.
• Partner with Legal Security to translate technical needs into enforceable vendor contract terms.
• Design and build supplier-risk and hardware approval systems, including data models and automated evidence pipelines.
• Lead partner security engagement with neocloud and silicon vendors to streamline technical vetting.
• Represent the company in industry forums like OCP to drive secure hardware standards.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts across security, compliance, legal, and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in data center hardware operations or supply chain security at hyperscaler scale.
• Proven track record of independently directing a security function for several years.
• Deep practitioner-level command of NIST 800-161 and NIST 800-53 frameworks.
• Experience building component traceability or media protection programs from inception.
• Strong engineering depth to design data models and review implementation pipelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences including legal and executive leadership.

Nice to have

• Experience directing supply chain security at a major cloud provider.
• Background in multi-party hardware programs involving silicon vendors and OEMs.
• Hands-on experience in data center site operations.
