What you will do

• Lead and mentor a high-performing team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and career coaching.
• Own the architecture of ETLs and data layers to handle massive data volumes and drastically increase system speed.
• Partner with Product Managers to translate complex fraud-prevention requirements into production-grade technical solutions.
• Optimize the entire stack, focusing on PostgreSQL query performance and Kubernetes-based deployments.
• Drive technical excellence by establishing architectural standards and ensuring high code quality.

Requirements

• 6+ years of backend experience with deep expertise in Python and FastAPI.
• Proven track record of building and optimizing Big Data systems and ETL pipelines.
• AI-first engineering mindset with experience deploying tools using LLMs and agents.
• Strong mastery of PostgreSQL, Redis, and BigQuery.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site at the Tel Aviv office.

Nice to have

• Experience in Fintech, Cyber-security, or Fraud detection domains.
• Deep experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes (GKE).
