Supplier Quality Engineer

What you will do

• Lead supplier performance improvement initiatives for new product development and mass production.
• Monitor and address supplier nonconformance issues by developing robust quality control plans.
• Drive permanent resolution of supplier issues using root cause analysis and corrective action reports.
• Manage PPAP requirements associated with product or process changes.
• Perform on-site supplier audits to monitor QMS compliance and effectiveness.
• Prepare executive summaries and monthly reports on supplier performance for leadership.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in a Supplier Quality Engineer role or related field.
• Proficiency with problem-solving tools such as 8-D, 5 Whys, SCAR, Fishbone, and Six Sigma.
• Experience applying statistical tools like Gage R&R, Process Capability, and SPC.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks based on priority and severity.
• Must be able to travel 35%+ of the time.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Italy.
