What you will do

• Design, build, and scale highly available, fault-tolerant distributed systems for the management control plane.
• Develop end-to-end features supporting scalability to millions of VMs across thousands of datacenter nodes.
• Drive architecture and implementation decisions with a focus on performance and operational excellence.
• Lead technical design discussions and evaluate trade-offs in clustering and large-scale service architectures.
• Collaborate with geo-distributed teams to deliver high-quality projects.
• Mentor and guide a team of 3–4 engineers through technical leadership and code reviews.

Requirements

• 10+ years of industry experience in systems or platform engineering.
• Strong expertise in designing and developing scalable distributed systems.
• Deep understanding of clustered, high-performance, fault-tolerant systems and design trade-offs.
• Strong knowledge of OS internals and systems-level architecture.
• Proven experience building and shipping production-grade backend services at scale.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
