What you will do

• Identify and resolve platform bottlenecks to improve developer velocity and app performance.
• Define and uphold engineering standards for React Native, TypeScript, and component architecture.
• Build and maintain shared primitives including navigation, state management, and UI foundations.
• Improve mobile CI/CD pipelines, release workflows, and build tooling.
• Implement mobile observability strategies, including analytics instrumentation and crash reporting.
• Partner with product and backend teams to shape API contracts and integration patterns.

Requirements

• Strong foundation in TypeScript and React, with experience in React Native or frontend development.
• Ability to think in systems and address root causes of technical debt.
• Experience building and documenting reusable tools and modules for other engineers.
• Proven track record of working cross-functionally with product, design, and backend teams.
• Data-informed approach to prioritizing platform work and measuring impact.
• Must be able to work from the Sofia office 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with mobile performance profiling and bundle size optimization.
• Deep understanding of mobile testing strategies (unit, integration, and E2E).
