Salary: $210,000 – $230,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Define and spearhead the overarching themes and rolling editorial direction for the company.
• Manage an always-on editorial calendar, ensuring a consistent flow of high-quality content.
• Collaborate with brand and social leads to align visual identity and amplification strategies.
• Lead creative direction for brand design to ensure visual consistency across all channels.
• Act as a player-coach, providing hands-on editing, writing, and mentorship to a team of specialists.
• Bridge the gap between business goals (sales, product) and narrative execution.

Requirements

• Experience operating as a media company operator with a focus on publishing cadences and audience development.
• Proven ability to lead creative and content teams while remaining hands-on in the work.
• Deep instincts for narrative and brand storytelling.
• Analytical approach to tracking content performance and connecting it to business outcomes.
• Strong understanding of how to earn trust and credibility with a technical/developer audience.
• Ability to work collaboratively with strong domain practitioners.

Nice to have

• Experience at a developer-focused company or in technical marketing.
• Familiarity with the AI/ML ecosystem and developer tooling.
• Experience building content marketing functions and editorial operations from the ground up.
• Track record of running large-scale brand awareness campaigns, including out-of-home programs.
