What you will do

• Build UI screens and HUDs by integrating backend code functionality from engineers.
• Develop a universal UI widget and screen template library using custom MVVM and UMG code.
• Create and iterate on prototypes and UI elements using Unreal Engine 5.
• Develop advanced UI shaders to meet the specific requirements of UI artists.
• Establish high-performing content workflows and create tools to improve the quality of life for UI artists.
• Ensure solutions are optimized according to technical requirements and production constraints.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience as a Technical Artist.
• Experience with at least 1 shipped AAA title (preferably in Unreal Engine).
• Proficiency with node-based shader networks within Unreal Editor.
• Knowledge of HLSL, CgFX, or CG from a technical art perspective.
• Expertise in industry-standard 3D software: Maya, Houdini, and Substance Designer/Painter.
• Strong experience with UE Blueprints and UMG scripting.

Nice to have

• Experience with Unreal MVVM.
• Experience developing diegetic UI elements.
