What you will do

• Design and develop a next-generation distributed ML data platform using GCP and open-source frameworks.
• Lead the strategy for building performant and efficient multi-cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with ML and Data Engineers to translate technical pain points into self-serve capabilities.
• Own major technical decisions and tradeoffs for end-to-end technical projects and the strategic roadmap.
• Champion engineering excellence by continuously improving operational systems and processes.
• Mentor junior engineers, conduct technical interviews, and lead design discussions.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience building distributed data platforms using major cloud providers.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java, C++, or Python.
• Expertise in Data Processing Frameworks (Beam, Spark) and low-latency serving layers.
• Experience with petabyte-scale (100+ PB) ingestion, processing, and serving architectures.
• Deep understanding of the full ML model lifecycle from feature engineering to monitoring.
• Must not require immigration sponsorship now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in self-driving, ADAS, or connected vehicle data domains.
• Familiarity with robustness, validation, and simulation for ML systems in autonomous driving.
