What you will do
- Perform financial risk assessments of suppliers during onboarding and periodic reviews.
- Review assurance reports (SOC 1, 2, ISAE 3000/3402) to validate supplier control environments.
- Conduct first-line risk audits at suppliers through interviews and document reviews.
- Act as a subject matter expert for supplier financial validation and continuity risks.
- Identify inconsistencies between reported controls and actual supplier practices.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure risk transparency and alignment with frameworks.
Requirements
- Experience in third party risk management, financial risk analysis, audit, or assurance.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial and assurance documentation.
- Ability to review and challenge supplier-provided evidence.
- Scenario-based thinking and high attention to detail.
- Clear communication skills to translate risks into practical insights.
- Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Utrecht, NL.
