What you will do

• Perform financial risk assessments of suppliers during onboarding and periodic reviews.
• Review assurance reports (SOC 1, 2, ISAE 3000/3402) to validate supplier control environments.
• Conduct first-line risk audits at suppliers through interviews and document reviews.
• Act as a subject matter expert for supplier financial validation and continuity risks.
• Identify inconsistencies between reported controls and actual supplier practices.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure risk transparency and alignment with frameworks.

Requirements

• Experience in third party risk management, financial risk analysis, audit, or assurance.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret financial and assurance documentation.
• Ability to review and challenge supplier-provided evidence.
• Scenario-based thinking and high attention to detail.
• Clear communication skills to translate risks into practical insights.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Utrecht, NL.
