Internship Compliance Asset Management (Finance)

TL;DR

Compliance Intern (Asset Management): Supporting day‑to‑day compliance operations, training administration, and control testing with an accent on risk tracking and process automation. Focus on optimizing compliance workflows using AI tools and maintaining regulatory frameworks within a large asset management environment.

Location: Hybrid (Netherlands). Possibility to work from home 2-3 days a week.

Salary: maximum € 650 per month

What you will do

• Support training administration through templates, checklists, and the delivery of training sessions.
• Assist in the preparation and improvement of reports, presentations, and policy updates.
• Track risk items, control testing actions, and maintain overviews of pending reviews.
• Set up and document reusable AI prompt templates for common compliance activities.
• Reorganize and maintain the Compliance SharePoint environment and intranet content.

Requirements

• Must be an HBO or WO student (3rd/4th year) in Law, Risk Management, Business, Economics, Data Analytics or a related field.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills with an ability to structure complex information.
• High level of accuracy and a proactive approach to learning.
• Affinity with digital tools, data reporting, and process improvement.
• Ability to work both independently and as a team player.

Nice to have

• Interest in compliance, governance, controls, or risk management.
• Experience with Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Power BI, AI tools, or SQL.
