Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Ecommerce)

What you will do

• Build and improve ML algorithms for pricing and customer targeting within an agile, cross-functional team.
• Implement and deploy large-scale ML solutions supporting hundreds of millions of products and customers.
• Deploy and maintain both batch and real-time machine learning models in production environments.
• Evolve the codebase, tooling, and platforms while contributing to the design of new features.
• Support and mentor junior team members to develop their technical skills and confidence.
• Contribute to technical direction and define ML standards across the wider engineering community.

Requirements

• Professional experience applying machine learning in production environments, specifically with deep learning techniques.
• Experience with recommendation or ranking systems.
• Familiarity with modern deep learning frameworks and distributed computing for large-scale models.
• Experience training models across GPUs using data and/or model parallelism.
• Strong understanding of software engineering: data pipelines, CI/CD, containerisation, and MLOps practices.
• Ability to provide technical guidance and mentoring to less experienced engineers.
