What you will do

• Lead data science direction across segmentation, recommendation systems, forecasting, product analytics, churn prediction, and customer insights.
• Design, prototype, and build scalable end-to-end machine learning pipelines for e-commerce personalization.
• Develop experimentation frameworks that support rigorous A/B testing and rapid deployment of personalization models.
• Translate data and model insights into logical business recommendations and measurable impact.
• Lead complex strategic projects and advise senior cross-functional stakeholders on prioritization and scope.
• Mentor junior data scientists and machine learning engineers through planning, technical decisions, code reviews, and documentation reviews.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related technical field.
• 10 years of experience leading technical project strategy, machine learning design, and industry-scale ML infrastructure optimization.
• 7 years of experience with software design, architecture, testing, and product launches.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in data mining and information retrieval.
• Experience with A/B testing and experimental design, with strong knowledge of statistics, probability, and financial modeling.
• Ability to translate data insights into business impact.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or PhD in a quantitative discipline.
• 15+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying machine learning systems, preferably in e-commerce.
• Experience with AWS or Azure machine learning platforms and MLOps best practices.
