Senior Principal AI/ML Developer

Salary: $178,875–$320,650 base salary per year

What you will do

• Develop and train machine learning models and algorithms for personalized hirify.global B2C eCommerce experiences.
• Design, prototype, and build scalable end-to-end ML pipelines for personalization at scale.
• Develop experimentation frameworks that support rapid iteration and rigorous evaluation of personalization models.
• Drive data-informed work across segmentation, recommendation systems, forecasting, product analytics, churn prediction, and insights.
• Partner with senior cross-functional leaders on complex strategic projects and business decisions.
• Mentor junior data scientists and machine learning developers through technical planning, reviews, and implementation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in data science, statistics, computer science, or a related technical field.
• 10 years of experience leading technical project strategy, ML design, and industry-scale ML infrastructure optimization.
• 7 years of experience with software product design, architecture, testing, and launches.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience with data mining and information retrieval.
• Experience with A/B testing and experimental design, plus strong knowledge of statistics, probability, and financial modeling.
• Ability to translate data insights into business impact.

Nice to have

• MS or PhD in a quantitative discipline.
• 15+ years of experience designing, developing, and deploying machine learning systems, ideally in eCommerce.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure machine learning platforms and MLOps best practices.
