TL;DR

Behavioural Health Coach (Mental Health): Supporting users through digital mental health programs with an accent on providing written guidance, motivation, and monitoring engagement. Focus on identifying risk indicators, promoting safety, and collaborating with clinical supervisors to ensure effective care delivery.

Location: Must be based in Ireland

Salary: €16.00/hr (approx. €1,386/month for 20 hours/week)

What you will do

  • Review user engagement and provide weekly written feedback to guide progress through online mental health programs.
  • Monitor user data for potential concerns and escalate information through appropriate clinical channels.
  • Express empathy and support users in setting personalized, realistic health and wellbeing goals.
  • Collaborate with the clinical supervisor team to promote safety and ensure access to appropriate treatment options.
  • Attend monthly individual and group supervision meetings to maintain clinical standards.

Requirements

  • Must be registered or in the process of registration with a recognized professional body in Ireland.
  • Currently undertaking or completed a Master’s or Doctorate in Psychology, Social Care, Psychotherapy, or Counselling.
  • Strong understanding of online mental health services and comfort using multiple technological tools.
  • Excellent written communication skills with the ability to provide clear, personal, and empathetic feedback.
  • Ability to identify risk indications and operate within the boundaries of a coaching role.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in Children & Young People services.
  • Proficiency in cognitive behavioural models or motivational interviewing.
