TL;DR

Senior Data Scientist (AI): Developing end-to-end AI/ML solutions for clients, including NLP for automated document classification, geospatial modeling of electric vehicle demand, demand forecasting, predictive maintenance, and price optimization. Focus on production-grade agentic RAG systems and providing guidance to junior team members.

Location: United Kingdom, England, London. Ability to travel to clients and FTI office(s) required.

What you will do

• Develop and oversee comprehensive ETL processes and maintain functional relational databases.
• Perform exploratory data analysis and render key insights through data visualizations.
• Manage proof-of-concepts, design modeling approaches, and manage the model lifecycle.
• Develop scalable and maintainable data pipelines and models, adhering to best design principles.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to showcase results.
• Coach and mentor junior data scientists.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Physics, Computer Science, Statistics, or equivalent.
• A few years of data science experience.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Git.
• Experience with AI/ML frameworks such as Huggingface, Torch, Tensorflow, Scikit-Learn, and Spacy.
• Experience with MLOps platforms like MLFlow, dbt, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with cloud environments such as AWS.

Nice to have

• Experience in a Solution Architect role, with a demonstrated ability to design technical solutions including but not limited to Database Design, ModelOps, and Orchestration.
