What you will do

• Design, build, and operate a large-scale data lake and associated data services.
• Develop and maintain reliable data pipelines and processing jobs.
• Collaborate with Application and Platform teams to define and meet data requirements.
• Contribute to architecture, scalability, and performance optimization decisions.
• Ensure data quality, reliability, and observability across the lifecycle.
• Implement infrastructure as code and manage data protection standards.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with distributed data processing using Spark or Flink.
• Hands-on experience with modern data lakehouse architectures.
• Solid understanding of data modeling, warehousing, OLAP vs OLTP, and dimensional modeling.
• Experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and Kubernetes.

Nice to have

• Experience with data observability, monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Knowledge of Apache Iceberg, ClickHouse, and orchestration tools like Dagster or Airflow.
