What you will do

  • Lead and mentor the DBA team, setting goals and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the maintenance and support of highly transactional database environments.
  • Design and implement scalable database solutions and architectures to meet business requirements.
  • Monitor database health and performance to ensure maximum uptime and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot performance issues and guide the team in database tuning and optimization.
  • Develop and implement strategies for High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a SQL Server DBA with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Advanced proficiency in T-SQL, PowerShell, and Git.
  • Experience with database management tools such as RedGate SQL Toolbelt and SQL Sentry Plan Explorer.
  • Strong knowledge of database security, backup, recovery, and data integrity.
  • Fluent English proficiency for effective cross-department collaboration.
  • Must be based in Israel for a hybrid work arrangement.
