What you will do

• Contribute to the product direction and roadmap for backend trading systems.
• Improve core systems, including matching engines, risk engines, and pricing models for derivatives (Futures, Margin, Options, Event Contracts).
• Collaborate with trading engineering teams to translate complex trading needs into technical solutions.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from planning to release and feature launches.
• Monitor backend performance and resolve issues proactively before they impact users.
• Ensure all systems comply with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Mathematics, Quantitative Finance, Financial Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, or related quant fields.
• Less than 5 years of professional experience (including internships) in trading systems, fintech, or platform roles.
• Strong understanding of order book mechanics, margin, leverage, liquidation, PnL, and risk management.
• Ability to work with complex mathematical models and system rules.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin is required for coordination with overseas partners.
• Must be based in Asia.

Nice to have

• Experience working with SQL, Python, or Excel.
