Chief Accountant

Salary: €6,000–€7,200 per month

What you will do

• Review and automate existing accounting workflows to improve operational efficiency.
• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, P&L, and disclosures.
• Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures across group entities.
• Manage, mentor, and structure the accounting team (AP, AR, Payroll, and Entity Accountants).
• Serve as the primary contact for tax authorities and other regulatory institutions.
• Collaborate with the Business Central team to implement system improvements.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience as a Chief Accountant or Accounting Manager.
• Strong knowledge of Lithuanian accounting and tax regulations.
• Experience working with multi-entity groups involving Lithuania and foreign jurisdictions.
• Fluency in Lithuanian and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong analytical and process-oriented mindset.

Nice to have

• Experience working with Microsoft Business Central.
