What you will do

• Develop new functionality and maintain existing features for CDN load balancing and video encoding.
• Ensure the quality and high availability of the video library.
• Design and optimize database structures for high-load environments.
• Build fault-tolerant solutions and safely deploy changes to critical-path services.
• Debug, profile, and optimize PHP code for maximum performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience developing complex high-load applications.
• Strong knowledge of PHP and programming patterns including SOLID principles.
• Experience designing and maintaining observable, reliable production systems.
• Proficiency in relational database design and optimization.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and command-line tools.
• Proven ability to write testable code and work effectively in a team.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of MongoDB and ClickHouse.
• Experience with Go, Python, or TypeScript.
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies like JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Portfolio of substantial code contributions on platforms like GitHub or GitLab.
