What you will do

• Architect and develop business-led CMS services and APIs using PHP and Symfony with a focus on performance.
• Integrate AI/ML processes and pipelines to enhance the annotation and distribution of video and image assets.
• Modernize and migrate legacy backend services into modern frameworks and cloud-based infrastructure.
• Model complex data flows and schemas for transactional and integration workflows powering consumer-facing experiences.
• Collaborate with design and product teams to rapidly prototype solutions for key business challenges.
• Ensure operational excellence through testing, monitoring, observability, and alerting.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building scalable production-grade backend services and content platforms.
• Strong expertise in PHP, Symfony framework, Composer, and Twig templating engine.
• Experience designing and implementing GraphQL and REST APIs within microservices architectures.
• Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience with RDBMS and search technologies like Solr or Elasticsearch.
• Proficiency with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes in production environments.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Golang or Rust for performance-critical services.
• Working knowledge of Node.js, TypeScript, and React/Next.js for fullstack collaboration.
• Experience with popular CMS systems such as WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or Magento.
• Cloud certifications in AWS, GCP, or OCI.
