Payroll Specialist (Finance)

Location: Hybrid (Tampere, Finland). Must be based in Tampere or able to attend the office weekly.

What you will do

• Manage hands-on payroll processes for both Finland and international locations.
• Process and calculate payroll, including related reporting and accounting tasks.
• Serve as the primary trusted contact point for all payroll-related matters within the global organization.
• Coordinate closely with external global payroll partners across 18 different countries.
• Proactively develop and optimize existing payroll processes.
• Collaborate with the Compensation team, P&C Business Partners, and the Finance team.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience working with Finnish payroll matters.
• Foundational knowledge of Finnish collective agreements, the Annual Holidays Act (Vuosilomalaki), and the Working Time Act (Työaikalaki).
• Fluency in both Finnish and English.
• Strong communication skills for navigating a global, cross-functional environment.
• Ability to be present weekly at the Tampere HQ.
