What you will do

• Develop end-to-end features ranging from data processing pipelines to database implementation and modeling.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to deliver complex analytical products.
• Analyze and improve the performance, scalability, and stability of production systems and tools.
• Contribute to open-source projects and represent the company at industry meetups and conferences.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience in data engineering with a focus on Apache and Scala-Spark or PySpark.
• Proven experience with high-throughput, low-latency, mission-critical distributed systems.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or an equivalent degree.

Nice to have

• Experience with large-scale production databases and BigQuery ETL.
• Proficiency in Go or Clojure for backend services.
• Experience with Airflow.
• An AI mindset with experience using productivity tools like Cursor or GitHub Copilot.
