What you will do

• Design and build end-to-end AI systems combining LLMs, embeddings, and retrieval pipelines into product features.
• Develop grounding and retrieval layers (RAG) by indexing documentation, OpenAPI specs, and customer data.
• Define evaluation systems to measure and improve AI accuracy, latency, and cost.
• Ensure production reliability through observability, rate limiting, and safe degradation strategies.
• Collaborate across the entire stack, from backend model orchestration to user-facing UI surfaces.

Requirements

• Experience building and deploying LLMs in production environments.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript or Python.
• Hands-on experience with RAG, embeddings, prompting, and structured outputs.
• Comfort working with APIs and structured data (JSON, OpenAPI, schemas).
• Experience designing and shipping end-to-end systems from backend to frontend.
• Must be based in the United States.
