Location: Hybrid, Must be based in Utrecht, Netherlands

Salary: €12,418 - €17,739 gross monthly

What you will do

  • Set and steer the international commercial strategy and long-term vision for the Wholesale & Rural (W&R) business.
  • Identify new business development opportunities in sectors like Food & Agri, Clean Energy, and Financial Institutions.
  • Act as a central orchestrator and strategic partner to the Global Head of Clients & Portfolio Management.
  • Translate long-term strategy into a clear Roadmap and annual plan with predictable deliverables.
  • Represent the Wholesale segment as a spokesperson at international conferences and with external stakeholders.
  • Lead the Wholesale Segment Strategy Team, fostering a high-performance and inclusive culture.

Requirements

  • Higher university qualification in a related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of experience in the financial industry, including senior management roles.
  • Proven track record in senior-level strategy roles within complex, international financial environments.
  • Extensive knowledge of the wholesale banking sector, risk management, and sustainability topics.
  • Proven experience in change management and leading diverse, international teams.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to build relationships across various business units and regions.
