UX/UI Design Internship (Fintech)

What you will do

• Conduct UX analysis of a React application, evaluating user flows, information architecture, and content hierarchy.
• Perform UI reviews of visual language, typography, color systems, and component usage.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate findings into actionable design improvements.
• Partner with frontend developers to ensure technical feasibility and performant implementations.
• Create wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes.
• Develop a prioritized backlog of design improvements and updated component guidelines.

Requirements

• Currently studying UX Design, HCI, UI Design, or a related field.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating UX/UI work, preferably for web apps or React projects.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Strong communication skills and an analytical mindset.
• Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Aachen, Germany.
