What you will do

• Build and maintain relationships with maintainers, framework authors, and community leaders.
• Identify ecosystem gaps and opportunities to provide better support for contributors.
• Coordinate global community programs, including hackathons, meetups, and workshops.
• Develop systems to improve contributor onboarding and ecosystem discoverability.
• Represent the Foundation publicly at conferences, podcasts, and community discussions.
• Partner with the board and ecosystem stakeholders on strategic sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong experience in community leadership, developer relations, or open source program management.
• Deep familiarity with the React ecosystem and modern frontend development.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work across diverse organizations, cultures, and technical communities.
• Proven track record of growing communities or ecosystem programs.
• Ability to operate independently and drive initiatives forward in an ambiguous environment.
