What you will do

• Locate and mark bending and cutting lines onto workpieces.
• Set up and operate benders for metal tube fabrication.
• Cut, deburr, and size bent tubes using fixtures or mylars to verify conformity.
• Position, align, and fit parts together for final assembly.
• Verify conformance of workpieces to technical specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble metal tubing products specifically for aircraft applications.

Requirements

• One-year certificate from a college or technical school, OR 3-6 months of related experience/training.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform manual handling tasks regularly.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
• Specific vision abilities including close vision and ability to adjust focus.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
