Salary: $85,500 - $105,600 CAD

What you will do

• Maintain and scale the main gateway and application reliability layer of the core product.
• Migrate production services into Kubernetes using Terraform for infrastructure-as-code.
• Build AI-enhanced observability and monitoring systems to ensure reliability for 6B+ daily requests.
• Define and track SLIs and SLOs for the heart of the hirify.global platform.
• Develop dashboards, runbooks, and automated tooling for metrics and alerting.
• Lead post-incident reviews (PIRs) to implement systemic, long-term reliability improvements.

Requirements

• 2+ years of software development experience in C# or a comparable OOP language.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including deploying workloads and production debugging.
• Experience with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and strong Linux fundamentals.
• Solid grasp of networking concepts: load balancing, DNS, mTLS, and HTTP/S.
• Experience with observability tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry) and SRE practices.
• Must be based in or able to work from Oakville or Toronto, Canada.

Nice to have

• Experience operating systems at high scale (100M+ requests/day).
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools like Copilot, Claude, or Cursor.
• Prior experience in on-call rotations for mission-critical production systems.
