What you will do

• Lead the scoping, planning, and delivery of large-scale features and roadmap initiatives.
• Design and contribute to long-term system architecture and scalable solutions across frontend and backend.
• Uphold high engineering standards through rigorous code reviews, testing, and deployment practices.
• Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to refine requirements and align on priorities.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers through coaching, pairing, and feedback.
• Solve complex technical problems and production issues across multiple teams.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of progressive software engineering experience with a proven track record of leadership.
• Proficiency in both frontend and backend technologies (polyglot mindset).
• Strong experience in scoping and evolving large-scale product features.
• Expertise in Agile methodologies, specifically Scrum or Kanban.
• Must be based in or able to work from Boston, MA; Vancouver, BC; or Vancouver, WA
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
